Wisconsin UsaNot sure where that is but $70 sounds quite limiting. If you can't find anything of quality for that price, I suggest going without an amp until you can save up for something in the $200 range. At $70, the amp would likely have no resale value and would possibly be just $70 wasted.
Thanks!Neenah, Wisconsin?
If it's for practice, a second hand small amp, like the Ampeg BA108 or BA110, or a Fender Rumble might do.
Look on craigslist for a Crate BX-160, you will have plenty of headroom, decent to great tone depending on your preferences, and I got mine for $40.
Nice find! I going to try and hook him up with a Fender Rumble 15, he's still learning.Everybody needs a bedroom amp. This would last forever if you take care of it. $79.
Amazon.com: Peavey Max 126 Bass Combo Amplifier: Musical Instruments
Edit: That Peavey Minx 110 in Madison looks sweet. Go take a look at that one!
Edit: That Peavey Basic 112 looks good too. Looks like you have some solid used options.
Good luck!
