Quick wiring question (pic)

It seems as if I pulled off the Sliver and grey wire on the right as I was putting the pickguard back after switching pickups.

I tested the bass, and didn't get sound. I'm not sure where they go.

I feel fairly sure that silver is ground and I should solder to the top of the pot. Is that right? Where does the white wire go?

Thx so much.

What is that, a J bass? That pic gives me a headache, I'd have half a mind to do the whole thing over. :woot:

Looks like that's the jack wire on the right you're talking about. Silver to ground, white to center lug tone. Then connecting wire from center lug of tone to 1st lug of bridge volume

Hard to tell, looks like there might be connecting wires already within that grey wire though

That wire looks like it is running to the output jack. The shielding of the wire should be soldered to the tone pot. Resolder it onto the back of the pot, and maybe re-flow the solder on the middle lug of the tone pot.
