R.I.P music

Plain bagels and plain cream cheese along with a delightful coffee from Congo as a pour over. Still too hot and busy to roast myself, so this was from another local roaster.
Today we finally have some better air quality in the Puget Sound. Earlier this week the air quality in this region was worse than Beijing, China. It's only a brief respite, back to smoky and hazy skies on Sunday is what the meteorologists are reporting from the local news stations.

It finally cooled off and the air cleared, so I roasted Thursday afternoon. Nicaragua, Guatemala, Sumatra, and an Ethiopian Yirgacheffe. It'll be ready to start drinking later today.
This morning the wife and I decided it's a 'let's go out to breakfast' day, so we're trying to figure out where, then off we go.

@MJ5150 how was the Yirgacheffe? It's one of my go-to when I buy from the micro-roaster by my place.

I roast them light, and they come out perfect for me every time. I take my time enjoying it, and am sad when it's gone.
This latest one is the Idido. Lots of blueberry on the front end and smooth as it cools down.

Mmmmm, Guatemalans are usually excellent. A top choice too.
I had a yummy smoothie and some scrambled eggs with habanero slices.
A quiet day weather wise up this way for once. Crazy winds and rain all week led to a mostly blue sky and peaceful day today.

Meetings all day, not enough coffee, and I have to work through the weekend to make sure this RFP doesn't go belly up next week. Joooyyyyyy
