R.I.P music

Wowsah, the week flew right on by. I forgot it's Friday until I remembered this thread.
No coffee for me yet today, still contemplating what I'll have.
Breakfast consisted of two bananas and a medium bowl of tsampa. Yeah, tsampa. It's new to me.
We've had torrential downpours the last few days, but for some odd reason it isn't raining right now.

@MJ5150 I had to look that up Mike. Interesting. With yea and Yaks milk? :D

I had waffles my gal insisted on making for me and a cup of folgers black silk drip. :) She is a lovely human but hell on my waist!

Our local Costco has it. I was skeptical at first, but dang I dig it.
You have to add lots of water (I don't like milk) as it thickens up like concrete really fast. I add some NH maple syrup too.
It's kind of a combo between steel cut outs and cream of wheat.

When reading up on it I see that it is often made with beer as well. I'm not a beer drinker so would avoid. Also saw that it is added to butter tea and then mixed up? Again, interesting. Is it remotely like cream of wheat? I LOVE that.

Beer? Weird. I've only had this in the context of breakfast, so beer sounds odd.
Butter added? Oh yeah, that would be good.
Again..we are too much alike. I love cream of wheat too.

Cold pizza from the best joint in town, then a pour over with some beans I roasted Wednesday.
Quite possibly the best Colombian I have ever roasted, and it's going to get even better over the next couple days.
Rain, rain, rain, then some rain in my part of the Puget Sound. Raining so much the ground can't soak it up anymore.

Did without breakfast this morning. Just a coffee from the evil empire ( I had a gift card from Christmas I had yet to use ) It was crap, if I'm honest but I've never been a fan of their coffee anyway.

Going to Panera with the work wife in a few minutes. Turkey avacado BLT and french onion soup sounds about right.

Double whammy going against you this morning. Please don't forget breakfast again.
If you're anything like me, which time and again in TBOT proves we are, prepare the night before for a successful tomorrow. I try to make, or set aside, something healthy the night before so it is ready for me in the morning.
We both like football, so this analogy will work.....game plan for success. Don't leave it to chance.
OK, OK, OK....I'll get off my soapbox now. :D

Edit....of course I make all these comments on the morning I eat leftover pizza.
But hey, pizza is healthy right? Dairy, grains, veggies. Right?? Anyone with me?

Yeah my gal hates when I'm out of town because I tend to forego breakfast. I don't care for waking up earlier than I absolutely need and sitting around. I like to shower, shave and skeedaddle :D I appreciate you brutha. I'll work on it :)

Me too on the morning routine.
My wife will get up 2-3 hours before she has to do something. Me? I get up 30 minutes before, 45 if I have to shower, run through my tasks, and get after it.
Even after 22 years married, she'll still ask me now and then why I get up at the last minute.
Last minute? Getting up 45 minutes early was already pushing my limits I think to myself. :D

Mirror image of my gal and I. Her alarm goes off about 1.5 hours before mine. I leave for work 1 hour before she does.

Home made chilaquiles with a Carolina Reaper salsa, followed up with a pour over made from the El Salvador beans I roasted Monday.
The sun's out again, time to power wash the porch and house while the gettin's good.

This morning I was treated like a king. The wife made an amazing frittata. I didn't want to stop eating it. After the first serving, I sliced up some fresh jalapenos for the second serving. Super thin, thinner than a dime. Perfect!
Paired really well with an Ethiopian Yirgacheffe pour over with beans I roasted Monday.
Rain, rain, rain is waiting for me outside today, so I think I'll stay inside.

Back to the breakfast burritos, this time with Carolina Reaper peppers. Mmmm, mmmm, good.
Nicaragua Finca Idealista for the pour over.
It's cold out this way today, 27 right now. More inside activities once I go get the propane tank refilled.

I was out and about this morning, so I decided to give Subway a try. The breakfast flatbread.
Once I got past the perfectly round and yellow eggs they use, it's actually not bad.
I'd get one again if I had to. It sure didn't leave me with that bloated lump in my stomach fast food joints do.

I'll be in Seattle all afternoon racking up the steps on my Fitbit.
