I used to own an old Traynor Bass master and 6x10 cab. That was a great old tube amp. Wish I never sold it.

I had no idea that Traynor only came back in 2000. I thought it was an L&M staple the whole time. I started playing right around 2000 and my first little amp, like many Canucks, was a Traynor Bassmate 10.

That was a good article - I liked this part:

"He became somewhat famous for the crash tests he performed — throwing his amps off the second storey of the building, then replacing the glass tubes and seeing if they’d still work. If they passed the test, he put them into production, confident they could handle the abuse of a rock show."

Definately a [secret] legend. I won't be selling off any of my Traynor stuff anytime soon.
