First one is fine.
I use the second method with my SVT. But im not using normal washers, im using thick rubber tap washers to give it a little bit of suspension against bounces![]()
ok ok..
so where do I get the rubber washers online? what size?
by the way, all I have are plastic washers that came with my case.

When I used a rack to mount my amp, I went screw.washer.amp.washer.rack because I had other stuff in the rack and thought it would help isolate everything and prevent ground loops, sort of like a cheap version of those Humfrees. It worked, too. Never got a ground loop. But if the only thing in your rack is an amp, it shouldn't be an issue.
