Rackmount digital delay ?

I have the line6 Echo Pro, the rack version of the DL4 delay. It is my favorite delay, it's got nice tape delay emulations, as well as some cool tricks like looping and reverse. To me it really sounds good. They don't make it anymore but you can find them on the 'bay.
P.S. - just went over to eBay, and man, prices on these have gone up! I picked up mine a few years back for about $200 to $225. Now they look like they are going for $400!

Guess that shows people like this unit. I see the pedal version (DL4) on pro artist's boards all the time.
The blue one (MM4 pedal, Mod Pro rack), which has mod effects like phasers, flangers, chorus, rotary speakers and such is also really lush and awesome sounding.

You can usually pick up a used Lexicon multi-fx (which includes some great delays) for pretty cheap.
My very favorite rack delay is the Deltalab Effectron II, but it's a sick and twisted old dirty thing; if U2's The Edge is all about delay with clean sparkle and sheen, then the Effectron II is The Anti-Edge.

They were great when new, and a great value even 10 years later, but I'm not sure about now that it's over 20 yrs old. Some simpler digi units (like the Effectron) run cool and don't wear out, but the more processing-intensive older units like the Quadraverb run hot, and can degrade significantly. Try before you buy; and if that's not possible, then don't pay more than say $50 + shipping.
