radial bigshot mix - info?

Hi!

Radial told me they start shipping the new Invalid Link Removed in the next few days.
Has anybody tested this already? Any info on pricing?
Where can I buy one?

Sounds like a great alternative to the quite expensive xotic x-blender...

I don't know why nobody makes one of these where the effects mix is controllable with an expression pedal. (ok, Tone Czar makes one that costs $475... )

Haven't tried it yet, but my luthier/tech is installing it on all the pedalboard he does. He's very satisfied with it.

Big Shot Mix = You can mix your clean signal with your effected signal.

I checked these out on the MF website. (They're listed in the "Distortion" category under "Guitar Effects-Single") In the end, I opted for the Barge Concepts VFB-2 because it didn't cost much more, plus it has the Feedback Loop. Geoff Bryant took excellent care of me and he was able to do a few custom options for me that are really useful. It just made more sense to me at the time. The Radial looks pretty solid, though. It might be worth saving a few bucks over the VFB-2 if you know you would never use a Feedback Loop.

Barge Concepts is actually working on a VFB-X pedal which should be released by spring. This pedal is like the VFB-2 but with expression pedal compatibility.

Stick that in your pipe and smoke it!

I too was very interested in the Bigshot Mix but took a chance and ordered the Barge Concepts unit instead as it has received so much acclaim here on TB. Now I'm just waiting for it to ship.

Looks like I picked the worst time to order one as Barge Concepts is in the process of moving to a new location. Geoff has been pretty good at keeping me updated and I hope to receive it this week.

The Bigshot was going to cost $140 Canadian and does not appear to actually be in stock anywhere yet.

The Barge Concepts VFB-2 was $115 USD with $10 shipping to Canada. The $125 USD coverted to about $140 Canadian, so they work out about the same.

I cant wait for this bad boy to arrive! arrrg

I wonder how the new smaller Barge Concepts will compare size-wise to the Big Shot Mix? I wouldn't mind a clean blend as long as it's small, and I don't think I'd ever find a practical applicaltion for a feedback loop.
