Seriously considering one of these to put at the end of my pedal board, and doing away with my amp rig. Both of my guitarists don't use amps (yea!), So I thought I'd give it a shot. Soundman is all for it. Anybody here use this DI?

I gave up amps also. I use a Sadowsky DI but I've also used the Radial JDI and it is good also.

JDI and 1964 IEMs here, too. Hoping to upgrade to a REDDI before long.

I'd like to give up my amp (a very nice EBS rig), but each group I play with has at least two folks that prefer wedges (the drummers in both of them, plus someone else), so I bring the amp and set it where they like to hear it. The church gig is the only one (so far) where there are no amps onstage (guitar amps backstage) and enclosed).

Plus a jazz gig I do, we don't even use a PA. The places are so small and the sax player plays with a little mixer and a powered EON on top of his rack and uses an announce mic through it. It's absolutely plenty for these places. I bring the amp for those.
