Raiding My Cab

SORRY I MEANT RAISING!!

I have an Eden 210XLT that I match with my MB SA450. I love it, although I have thought of switching to the Berg AE210.

Only thing is, when I play live, on a small stage, I am too close to my amp to really hear it well, although my legs do feel some of the rumble.

Any suggestions on raising my amp or tilting it back? Which do you prefer... what are the pros and cons?

Since I only experience this in small rooms with small stages, I also am not usually DI'd in these situations (singer songwriter with drums)

buy one of them and install it in the cab. Put the Cab on a PA stand.

that's definately something to think of.


i guess what i am asking is, would aiming it on an angle work or sometimes i see people put them up on a chair... do you not recommend that?

tip it back so it points at your ear. (or make it higher stacking it on unused cases so it points at your ear.) johnny a

I either do what theshadow does, or I just stick a 2x2 painted black under the cab at an angle that hits my ears. An amp stand is more classy, but at least it's not a milk crate or chair, which I consider verboten on any stage I'm on.
