randall

I used some sort of Randall head at a gig once, it was backline. Tone wasn't great, and it clipped pretty easily. I wouldn't recommend one. Besides that, hauling a 410 combo around isn't exactly easy, and you should probabally be looking to a head+cab for ease of transport if you are planning on gigging or taking it to practice often.

I have two randall 4 x 10s that I love to death, but they look pretty different from this combo and the speakers don't seem to be the same either. All I'm saying is don't automatically discard Randall as a guitar amps only company, they HAVE made great stuff for bass as well.

From what I've been told, there is a Detroit area amp designer who designed the new Randall bass amp line. I don't think they are shipping yet, but Low Down Sound has a couple on order. So, the Detroit guys will check them out and post when they show up.

The buzz is pretty good on these at the moment, but who knows!
