I don't know who to be upset at about this...
I'm moving away from having a compressor "always-on" so the issue with the GK Mb2-500 clip light started to get at me...
I emailed GK about it and I got a quick reply the next day saying its still under warranty and that they would "update" it. I just needed to email Brian and ask for a RA#
did that and got an email back with a forum to fill out before I could get an RA#... odd first time seeing that form and I've sent back that amp TWICE so far for shutting down early and something else I cant remember... I think it was an issue with the headphone jack clipping and distorting.
Filled out the forum twice because the first time I forgot something.
Got an email saying
"Your R.A. number is XXXXX.
Please write this number on the box before you send it to us."
which is odd because I've always got a UPS label to ship it back....
So I shipped it back on my own dime.
waited a week... nothing? sent an email asking if it even made it... nothing.. emailed back the original person I contacted... nothing.... sent a message to RAG here on talkbass... nothing.... waited another week and sent another email... nothing...
sent another to the first person again and got a reply today..
"Hi,
It has been delivered to Las Vegas, NV on 10/27/10 @ 11:47am.
You can see the tracking results at Invalid Link Removed with the tracking number: XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX"
the site says it was delivered to my home yesterday an "left on porch"
I dont have a porch..... and no box or note on my door...
I called the number the UPS store told me to call and its a big automated loop that only confirmed my correct address....
Im pissed at UPS and pissed that GK took until the day AFTER my amp was suppose to arrive to get me a tracking number...
For all I know the UPS guy could have just stole it... It would not be the first time gear has gone missing by UPS in my band...
If anyone has been through this please help... I dont make enough to just take a loss...hoping I dont need too..
