Don't you hate it when you buy something from someone online and they tell me they will post It the next day but then you get a message from them the day before the weekend telling you they just posted it....arrghh!!!
So last weekend (I'm in Australia and it's Friday afternoon at the moment) I was looking at an Australian bass buy swap sell page and someone wanted to get rid off some fairly new(2 weeks old) fender flats and a new set of daddario rounds for free I just had to pay postage. I message the guy say I'm interested he tells me he will post them Tuesday, I'm paying $15 for postage so I assume it will be express. I pay him the money on Saturday night expecting him to post them Tuesday and this would mean I get them Thursday. This works out well for me because I have Thursday, Friday and Saturday off(my schedule at work is 3days off then 11 days working). Today(Friday) I get a message saying he has just posted the strings what the H*** I will now get them delivered Monday/Tuesday and not be able to use them/put them on and properly play them for a good week after that. This is extremely frustrating and while I know it's only a small issue and the value of the strings here is around $80 so a good deal for me waiting by the post box to get that message the day before the weekend is annoying. I would have been fine if he had said sometime during the week or when he is at the post office next or any other excuses but now I'm pissed off.
Am I being unreasonable?
