How old is it?

IIRC, my '70s Orange catalogue only has 'em using 15 in. EV SROs for bass.

if the mesh covering the cones is tan its a guitar cab, if its black its a bass cab, hope that helps ;-)

I have read so many posters say they want one when you see one you tell folk. Yes I did say what the tag says because it's humorous. There's a Traynor 6x10 at the Glen Burnie GC. If you say I work for them we will come to blows. A guy who I was buying a YBA3 from was looking for one hot and heavy. Should I not tell anyone? A little while ago I guy wanted something that sounds like a Hiwatt 200 well I saw a real vintage one. So I PM' him. Woundn't you want to know? Sorry but sometimes you find great gear and someone in this community is looking for it. Now a Kern or Read pre, a vintage Hiwatt 100 or Vintage Orange, or a Berg IP for $25.00 I might keep to myself

Did Orange ever make an 8x10 for bass? Other than Ampeg and Traynor, most bass amp companies in the '70s used 15s and 18s and all of the other X by 10s were guitar cabinets.

The orignal 8x10 Marshall cabinets were guitar cabinets as Marshall bass cabinets had 12s, 15s or 18s.

I often see old Sunn and Acoustic 6x10s and 6x12s (etc.) being described as bass cabinets when they were originally sold for guitar use...again bass amps back then used 15s and 18s.

yes, orange did make 8x10's for bass but not in the 70's..
it was made in late nineties to accompany the customshop ad140B they realeased back then. It is said that they've only made 17 of them and i have only seen to of them for sale.. ever.

edit: THIS cab however is probably the guitarcab made in the 70's.
