RBD: MIM Jazz bass

yup, in 2005 Fender offered an FSR of flamed top MIM Standards .. this would have been from that run ... because it was an FSR, MSRP and street price were slightly higher than a 'regular' MIM Standard ... because of the foto-flame finish, street price was right around $500 new, just slightly less than the MIA Hwy 1's were going for at that time ...

Stunning job on the refurb ... certainly a piece to be proud of ... ;)

Wow! thank you with the help with that serial number. Wasnt sure how to figure out that serial # for the year or run. I have been playing it a bit today on my day off and I'm just so used to active pickups or onboard EQ (more knobs). I play a Warwick Corvette Standard or a Ibanez btb570fm every weekend while gigging and the tonal variety you can get from them is almost a necessity. Id like to retire the BTB as the backup and start using this Fender but I need help on electronic and pup replacements. any suggestions?
