that next morningThis drives me nuts. Unless the most popular version is a live one, the answer is always the studio version. ALWAYS. Nobody cares about that version with the solo you like and nobody knows. I don't care if one guy per gig figures it out and "proves your diversity". If you're going to do covers, learn the version everyone knows and learn it right.
Oh, I learned the live one from the free show at buck tooth bob's in 78 that nobody knows. But the guitars are so thick, man. Ugh. Fired.
