Re-Stringing

Anyone have any bad vibes about re-stringing with experimental strings that might have been played just a few times? I have a small collection that I would like to try again. I understand the machine head bend and stress factor, but the strings would go on the same guitar. :hmm:

I would say go for it. I've restrung the same set of strings several times (4+) the only consequence is.. it's possible they can become more fragile at the tuning post, and if they have silk ends.. they become frayed.

Mine are semi frayed, but I was fairly careful removing them from a top load bridge with holes, not slots.

Only way to know if you like em is if you keep trying different ones, and go back and forth I guess, huh?

No problem since they strings where on that particuliar bass. Id expect them to sound less then new of course. But still, should sound like somewhat to fully broken in strings of that brand. Unless they where allmost dead, passed timeframe for wanting to keep them on. When you removed them.
