re-using La Bella Flats. Can be done?

Hey everybody. To make a long story short, I have an almost new set of Deep Talkin' La Bella's on a bass (.45). I want those same strings in my new bass... Any advices on how to remove & put them, without breakin'?

Thank you all!

Carefully, unwrap only as much of what has been around the tuners as you need to get them off, and work them slowly and gently through the string anchors without kinking them.
Thanks! I got them out without any fuzz, slowly and gently... Had to stretch the tuner's end with pliers afterwards.

Faced with almost bigger troubles puttin'em on the new bass. Through body!

I didn't have the time or the nerve to tune the bass yet. Afer work I will face that :nailbiting:

Well, it was a bit tricky, but I finally succeeded.

There is no "undo", by the way. The rounded strings I removed from the thru body show a dent where they sat at the bridge. Same deal will happen with the flats, I'm positive.
