I can read bass clef notation okay but when I try to read treble clef it scrambles my brain and I get confused. Those of you that can do it, how do you keep them straight?

Well, G - G7 - E7 - A7 - D7 - G is the same in bass and treble clef, if you're interested in improvising a solo. When I was playing jazz, I would often get lead sheets that had the melody in treble clef. It would be nice to read it so I could improvise a bass solo.
