    IT is me . thx.

Realist is a really good pickup. I think.

but I will try a fishman full circle. (IT's in progress on a new Aubert deluxe bridge by a luthier.)

I would thread a fishman pickup sample .too

    Dude, that sounded phenominal.

Excellent playing and excellent punch with the pickup.

    Great work!

This is me playing arco using the Realist, recorded using the Zoom H4:

I think the Realist is the best pickup if you play with the bow or if you don't need a lot of volume. I'd still like to try the FC one of these days though (when I have the time and the money...)

Nice tone from that Realist. I have both a Realist and Full Circle on my old German carved bass. I like my Full Circle blended with a Shure Beta57 mic (thanks to Chris F. for that suggestion), but I've never been happy with the pickup-only tone from any pickup I've ever used.

My Realist tone doesn't sound as good as yours, and it might be the strings I'm using (I use either Corelli or Obligato). What strings did you use on that recording?

    Thanks
