I'd like to see a comparison between FC threads up & threads down. My FC is threads up, and trying to take into account the limitations of different setups, seems to be between the two in character. I know that would be much more involved, as it would probably take at least two bridges, if not two pickups, so there is more $$ involved than just the pickups, but that would be a very interesting comparison indeed.

During this period I've also tried this heads: aguilar AG 500SC, Ampeg VT3, Tecamp 900 ( the new one) also coupling with an Epifani 2x10....
NOw I'm quite convinced that is a pick-up problem, because the acoustic sound I like it very much

I use the Aguilar AG500SC with GS112 cab, sounds very nice with FC at flat eq setting. Has the warmth and clarity too. Unfortunately the EQ section has not too much option, but usable. Avishai Cohen and John Patitucci use this amp with Realist I will try with the Realist in the next week live.
