Realistic larg(ish) rig for gigging?

As for gear, i already have the sansamp rbi, the crown power amp and the 410 svt he. Would you still suggest getting those cabs or do you reckon the 610hlf might help out fill the sound?

I get a lot of flame for this opinion but here goes: stay away from ampeg. Trust me when I tell you (or read some of my other threads) I have owned or used almost EVERY STINKIN CABINET KNOWN TO MAN.

Sell the 410HLF and get yourself a Bergantino HS410. By any means possible. This is hands down the loudest 410 on the market. Im talking loud here. If you look around TB a little youre going to find very few people who will dispute this. I did a thread a few years ago comparing 4 or 5 410's considered to be loudness-leaders. The Bergantino TROUNCED the lot of them.

Bingo. A dual-amp setup for a drum/bass band is key IMO. Right now im experimenting with a pair of half-stacks with a Rat2 feeding a V4B for a clear yet dirty mids sound, and an MXR Blowtorch + Sansamp feeding the other side for a boomy over the top scooped sound.

That's interesting! Just so i know, what is your beef with ampeg?
Those bergantino cabs lookamazing, but extremely pricey. The reason i'm looking at the 610is i've been offered one brand new for £471 which is an amazing offer!

I'd love to have a dual amp setup but i can't afford a van to move it round. That's why i'm planning on running the 410 and the 610 off the one pre/power amp.

If you can cart the two cabs at once, I can't imagine that an extra head would take up much more space. Also, if the poweramp is stereo, can you use 2 preamps that each get their own output?

I use a sunnO))) 1200s or 300T through an ampeg 8x10 and a sunnO))) 2x15 and it crushes with PLENTY of headroom. I definitely suggest getting some more wattage to push your cabs. I have a cross between Big Business and Om sound out of my rig. Al Cisneros is my hero.

When you say puch the cabs,is that in order to get the full rich tone i hear when i push my amp waaaaaaaay too much?
