Personally I like when the pickup is a different color than the pickguard..

I vote for the 2nd bass in Woo's 2nd post... White or cream body with black pickguard and white pickup..

Just one thing, I was surfing the Ikebe website form Japan, and their "classic white" looks more like an alpine white. Which is it really?

I really like that alpine white, but the Music-man website shows that it's classic white is actually classic white, not alpine...
But the pictures on Ikebe clearly look like the Classic Stingrays

I got the pics I used from the MM web page. Here:

When u hover over the colors it generates a preview. I did not perform any color manipulation whatsoever. So, the classic white I have is as good/bad as what the MM web site offers.

There's good reason for your confusion. If you look on the MusicMan site, they show the Classic White. It looks more like the Photoshopped products that Woo10 did for you.

I recently bought a Classic from Guitar Center. If you look at their on-line site, the white that they offer is different than the Classic White shown on the MusicMan site. The one on the GC site is called "Ivory White", but looks more like what you are calling "Alpine White". Definitely "whiter" and less creamy-looking than the Classic White. Both are nice, but I prefer the "creamier" Classic White on the MusicMan site. I ended up buying the Mint Green because the white ones were out of stock.

I think they offer certain colors strictly for GC. Maybe they do the same for Japan.
