Reasonably Priced custom basses

Does anyone know of any reasonably priced custom basses. I'm just about to order a custom warwick but man is it going have a large price ticket. I'd love a Jerzy Drozd or a Carl Thompson but I don't have the extra $6,000. Any ideas? Thanks!

Define "reasonably priced".

There are some very nice custom makers out there (Stambaugh, Valenti) that have pretty nice pricing, and there are some others that I won't mention for various reasons (but reading what's just under my name may help...).....

I can't find a web address for Karl, but his instruments are wonderful. I have a half-Hoyt.. delicious Hoyt neck and a Warmoth Jazz body...

If you google Karl Hoyt basses, you'll see some of his work.

Xyllion has a georgous pair of 32 in. scale Hoyt 6 string basses.
