My buddy messaged me this morning, wanted to look at acoustic guitars at GC, wanted me to come with. :bassist:

So we get there, go into the acoustic room, and there's guitars all over the walls with no real organization other than brand. There's a guy trying out a few guitars at the other end of the room, so we take a spot near the doors. My buddy is looking around, and I'm sitting back taking the long view. He'd bring back a guitar, play for a minute or two, and we'd critique it compared to the others. Meanwhile, I'm looking for stuff that fits what he was looking for, and was telling him things like "Hey, try the third one on the left, second row." Anyway, this goes on for a while, and the other guy in the room makes to leave, says to me "What, are you his manager?" I said "Nope, I'm the bass player." He just nods like, yup, makes sense, and leaves. :D

FWIW, the Yamaha Red Line label FGX3 was our favorite, but it was over his budget for immediate purchase.
