Recommend me a wireless system

Clipped to the strap, I have not been able to find an appropriate pouch yet. The clip seems built well but I have had it come off the strap a few times now and tried clipping it to my belt, better but not the answer...

Get a Line 6 based on your price range. All are good, and you'll be able to find one that is in your budget range. If it isn't, don't go wireless. Because if you can't afford a decent system, you sure won't be able to afford all the batteries that come with operating them.

In the Relay series, only the new G55 is recommended for use with rechargeable batteries.

People have ignored Line 6's instructions on the older models with mixed results. Rechargeable batteries don't necessarily follow the size standards for alkaline batteries, and there can be fit problems.

The best bet is to go with lower-capacity batteries (2000mah and down seem to fit pretty much regardless of brand), or go for one of the newer digital wireless units that offer similar performance, but have been engineered with rechargeables in mind:

I got the Relay G30 two months ago. As soon as I saw how long a set of batteries lasted, I immediately went out and got some rechargeables. I use it every day for practice and have to change them about 4 or 5 times a week. So far no problems! It's working great!

I'll differ just because I have not used the Line6 but I have used this Sennheiser for about 7 or 8 years now and it has been outstanding.

You'll drop your recomendation if you ever need repair work done.

Line 6 G90... rack-mountable so it's plug and play, and about 8 hours of battery life. I've had mine for almost 6 months and have not had one problem. No drop-outs, no interference, nothing! I used to have a Nady wireless and I could always tell when someone's mobile phone was about to ring!

Line 6 G30. No pouch for me and energizer rechargeables for the past year or so. No issues, works great, sound same as a cable.

Line 6 G50. I recommend getting rechargeable batteries and replacement cables. I got my G50 system and rechargeable batteries off of eBay and the replacement cables from Link Removed.

We have three of the Sennheiser's on stage every night - Two of the receivers are in a rack and one sits on that musician's amp. Tthe one needed repair was handled under warranty (through Sweetwater), but they've been pretty bulletproof. Since two of them are used for acoustic guitars, I wanted wireless units that didn't color the sound much; The EW 100's were the best at that for me.
