the mortal kombat series definitely has not withstood the test of time. i tried playing mk2 (the best one) a few months ago, and it's pretty bad.

I had a cheat code that would allow the computer to play both fighters. I would watch for hours.

Dude, you need to trade in NHL 95 for 94. 95 has no fighting. And 90% of the goals are one-timers. And Federof and Bure are both way too good on that.

Trade in? I'll probably get 94 eventually, but I'm keeping 95. I was raised on that game. I also had it for the computer.

I agree though that the rating system in 95 is a bit out of whack. I think most of the ratings do reflect on how good the players were in the previous season (wasn't Fedorov MVP?). I'd probably say that more than anything they made the bad teams (Anaheim, Ottawa, etc.) too bad.

I just made an ebay purchase of 10 Genesis games. They don't look like the greatest titles, but they are guaranteed to work and only cost 7 bucks total.

Yeah, it's on the second installment of a Classics Collection. Great game. I first played it in an arcade, then I had it for my Saturn, then I got it for my Xbox!
