I'd say a kestrel, but it has a wide neck. Like a complete mix of P and JIs there any neck thru basses with 24 frets that you guys recommend? I prefer a very skinny neck with 4 strings, 5 is ok too. Thanks!
Not necessarily. Depends on the woods and build spec.Those weigh a ton.
Probably a Schecter or Spector really. They are lighter than MM/Sterling. Ibanez make some great necks for their basses too and they're light but most are bolt on unless you get a premium.
