Recommendations on pickups?

I'm using a 4-string Shecter Diamond Series w/ the original EMG-HZ pickups & active EQ. Sounds fine, but could I do better with upgraded pickups? Any recommendations?

Some have said aguilar dcb's are what emg hz's were supposed to sound like.

If you're happy with sound I wouldn't worry about it though. They're quality pickups capable of making good sounds. Make sure they're fairly close to the strings for best results.
