Recording bass with Guitar Pod 2.0

I used to do this quite a bit before I had other stuff.. like a BOD, SABDDI, or even a bass amp. It won't sound as good as any of those, but iIf you mess around with the settings for a while, you can usually get something passable.

I used it for and got the best results with the Tube Preamp and the Bassman settings but neither was really all that great. I went back to my old ART Tube MP and realized that it actually worked pretty well. I later got a Sansamp BDDI and was even happier with that.

But if all you have is the Guitar POD, try out different amp settings and even cabinet settings. You may find some combinations that work for you.
