Recording newb with basic questions

I want to be able to record some bass and guitar tracks to present to my fellow band members as song ideas. I don't want it to be professional quality, or even demo quality, just presentable as a basic song idea within the band. Am I correct in assuming that this is all I need:

My instrument > Zoom B3N > instrument out to a Behringer U-Phoria UM2 (or other cheap interface) > the USB input on my laptop, which has Audacity (or other free recording software) installed.

So I have all the other stuff, so really I"m just looking at the interface. I'm looking to spend 50 dollars, new or used, at most in the interface. Any better option than the Behringer mentioned? Anything I'm missing?

Thanks for any advice!
