Recording via Babyface Pro Fs + Audacity + Computer ----Help!

Ladies and gentlemen, lost in the bass!

Is there any "benevolent expert" in this type of matters on the forum?
I would like to start recording my guitar by doing covers of the original song...
Would anyone from the forum be willing to show me a simple (!!!) how to do it?

Not only in written form, but to make a video with all the details so that even... a child can understand it......
I can't access the money, but I can be grateful and helpful if I can repay it in some other way...

Bass guitar > Babyface Pro Fs> Computer > Audiacity...

Babyface doesn't provide any guidance? Odd...

YT should provide some basics on this subject if you can transpose info to the gear/software you are using. Audacity is well supported I believe.

I haven't seen anyone record such covers from scratch... There are only ready-made videos of bassists playing in the video with the song in the background... There is no technical guidance...Am too..restless and shaky when I have to try something myself and set it up in the dark...

I use UCX II but the software is the same. Your main hurdle will be installing and setting up Totalmix FX and installing the current Babyface Driver. I would use the RME Babyface interface in Operational Mode. Also open up Channel Layout and turn off all the I/O's you're not using. In Audacity, select the RME Babyface interface as your Device Input and Output.
