haha, made the mistake of thinking that with the strings on my warwick! As it transpired, the guitar shop had actually put decent black label strings on there...the polymer coated beasties? Absolultely ruined them, it now feels/sounds like I'm playing a set of noodles!
ah well. Should have a new set of Jonas Hellborg DR customs to give a whirl soon - I do so love that tone of his.
