He has changed the pick guard out to black, very nice bass....hopefully my Valenti will be as GREEN as this bass

If I recall correctly, Dave (Redbutton) had Lakland color match the green from a paint chip sample he sent in. Kudos to Lakland for going the extra mile, or at least offering it (don't see Fender doing that).

I like that color myself, but even the ugliest colored Joe Osborne would look better to me than the Darryl Jones model.

The pickups are Bartolini 9J1's
If I recall correctly, pre-amp is a Bartolini HR4.7AP
