Red Rocks

I was in the 6th row for the NIN show at Red Rocks, and I was absolutely blown away. Piggy was absolutely perfect with the upright. My questions are how in gods name do you keep track of what you are doing with all those lights going, and do you ever feel like by playing large venue shows basically every night that it becomes a routine and more and more difficult to connect emotionally to the music?
P.s: The light fence thing was SICK!

Thanks much...that was a lot of fun playing one of the finest venues on the planet. That's a big time honor playing that place.

It's not easy with the lights, trust me...takes some getting used to. It is a challenge to connect to the music AS much as a small show, yes. But easy to surmount if one remains in the moment and savors the crowd reaction and interaction. It's really exciting, trust me. I can't see it getting old, never has.
