REDDI Tube DI Mega-thread-II

I use my REDDI after my Radial BassBone (I switch between fretted and fretless). No problems at all!
Perfectly good idea! I do it all the time. So I can take advantage of both items.
So does Paul Turner (Jamiroquai, Annie Lennox, Shuffler, The Voice UK...) as well.
No, only the line out of the BW going into the REDDI. The BW DI out is not used..... unless I am going for a ultra clean HIFI..... sound. In that case I don't use the REDDI, only the BW

The scene involves a group of Catholic priest counting up the earnings from the mass that day in the back room of a church. A gang of thugs break in and start shooting up the place in order to steal the earnings (yes, there was that much money on the table). The priest actually have guns and shoot back. Awesome scene. Incredibly good movie that was lost in the vaults.
On a more Reddi note: I'm using the Reddi today at that product demonstration at Bose. I can't wait to hear the first note come out of one of those L1 systems. I'll post results tomorrow.

Funny you mention the Bose L1. One of the gigs we do on a regular basis has a Bose system installed that's very similar to the L1's but it's apparently a heavier duty version of it. Not my favorite PA in the world but it does sound good.
If anyone is in the area, this weekend Sweetwater is having our annual GearFest. It's free and Peter and A-Designs(along with a huge list of other vendors) will be there! Just an FYI.

Here's a crappy iPhone photo from yesterday's gig at Bose corporate headquarters. The Reddi sounded amazing through the L1 system. It really did sound like an Ampeg B15, but louder and clearer. I heard some farting here and there, but I think that was just because I didn't have any limiting and some transients probably just shook up the L1. Up until this point, I had only used the Reddi for studio work, but now I'm convinced I need to use it for every gig, no matter how good the PA system is.

I can understand what you mean about the L1's. They sound great, but a real PA system packs a lot more umph. All I have to say is it's so easy to set up and get a great sound out of it with minimal tweaking. The whole band minus the drummer ran through L1's. The guitarists used tiny tube amps that were mic'ed and everything sounded so well balanced and clear. If you do smaller bar gigs where you need to bring your own PA, this is a great way to go. Super portable too.

How were the lows with the L1's?
I find Bose to be very mid range and a lot of highs with little bottom end. This was with older units of course.
Was that your experience with them or have they done better since then?
