Reed James PUS payed and not received !

Just to post a warning thread about a custom order that I made with James Reed (Reed James Custom pickups about 2 years ago and I did not receive it. I ordered 3 custom bass PUS sets, full payed through Paypal and after 24 months never finished. I sent him a thousand emails and he always telling that they were almost finished. The last emails I sent him I have no answers ! Be careful and do not pay him in advance !

I've dealt with him before, he took a bit longer than promised and I had to dog him. Seems phone calls are the only way with him, email is pretty spotty.

Phone him. He answers calls unlike others on this board. Remember this is a one man operation. I'm sure
he is dealing with the usual paypal issues, but I got mine after 5 months, and this after his hospital stay. Quality of work is excellent, he wired a
different impedance for bridge and neck position. Can't wait to get these installed and have the Sadowsky
onboard preamp do it's magic
