Bravo integrity! I just bought a Univox 'Stereo Bass'and am awaiting it's arrival. I've never owned a Rickenbacker in my decades of playing. Who knows, if I really like it I may buy one of Mr. Halls products. Unless they are inferior.
I was not aware of this brou-haha with the Ric police until now. I think it smacks of record companies suing college students for sharing music files. Yes, there is a valid point to be made but it is completely lost in the so called 'corrective action'. I fail to see the harm done, this is a second hand market here and no one is misrepresenting these 'products'.

Cheers +1 !

I wonder if all the controversy and the strong actions against private sales is actually fueling the desire and value of these instruments...

The value of Ricks, or the value of the copies?

In the case of the Rick copies, like the Greco, the price is fueled by the fact that these are VERY well made instuments.

Greater demand than supply is what keeps the prices on the RIcks high.

Some nicer pics taken outside which shows more of the true color.
