refretting a fretless with Ebonol fretboard

Hello,

does anyone ever tryed to put the frets on a born fretless with Ebonol fingerboard?

It's about an Ibanez GWB35.

I don't konw how it will react this ebonol, that is an artificial material similar to ebony, but I don't now if it will react as wood or it will go in million of pieces....
