So i've owned this piece for 2 months now, and i've been satysfied, especially when recording!
I monobridge it through an 610hlf cab, i play hard and brutal with a pick, mostly.
Sometimes my tone has been over the top, almost to the point where you dislike your tone. This is mainly happening when playing my 119mm d-string(drop-d)
So one day i tried to back of a bit on the gain control.
Problem solved.
The gain was set in accordance with the manual, rarely peaked, only lit up when i was really hammering it!
My main bass is a 4-string ibanez sr760 with passive pickups!
Just wanted to share! perhaps someone like me finds this info helpfull!
i've also got a question: I've learnt that the line out's are "dry" and "wet", and that the dry channel is not affected by the master volume knob, but the wet one is. is there any other differnce in "dry" vs. "wet"
Also, what do you guys prefer regarding the pre/post and Stereo/mono switches on the backside, i'd take it these buttons only matter whilst one of the lineout's are operated.
