Reggie Wootens 10 string bass

Once it gets to this point, a 10 string bass and the such, can it really be called a bass anymore? At that point wouldn't it be a stick, or a Warr, or maybe just call it a hybrid? I think we need to come up with a new name for it. You don't play it like a stick or a Warr, so what do we call it besides massive?
an instrument such a 7+ bass guitar gotta be still called a bass because its played like a bass guitar, and it has the lenght scale of a bass guitar, don't you think?

I have heard from some folks that reggie is as good if not better than vic
Now How they can tell who is better seeing that they are both extremely talanted.. I don't know... but It wouldn't surprise me one bit to hear reggie and vic tear it up equally well.

hello Wrong Robot it was in April that I was at Vics home studio while he was working on his newest recording.and I can say it is going to be FUNKY.Reggie is even playing Bass on it, He layed a killer groove that is better when heard than me trying to describe it.

i saw the wooten brothers live a few weeks back.... how?
the drummer on the new album (derico watson) is the drum instructor at my school. this is the second time i have seen victor and derico...
anyway, they played some stuff from the new album and it sounds very cool. Reggie played this 6 stirng guitar that looked very BC RICH (turned out to be a kramer i think) with LEDs and stuff all over it. i had a gig at 9 that night, so i had to leave early, but my friend has a video of the concert he is gonna copy for me. right before i left reggie did this insane tapping solo... not fast flashy stuff but real melodic harmonized stuff. oh man that was cool
too bad victor's tone sucked that night!
he played his ying yang bass through a SVT-4 pro and the 2 signiture cabinets he has... oh man it had no treble at all.
sorry i got kinda off topic, but you guys understand. the guy here with the name beachgeddy was at the show too, but he left about when i did i think.. he had a gig too

Um....whaa???? Singlecut Warrior's? I've never been a big fan of the Warrior body style, but I'd love to see a pic of a single cutaway.
BTW, I'll ask Greg if I can post the sketch he did of a singe cutaway Int'l Petite he just designed. It looks so cool.
i will post pics of the 5 string single cut and the 15 string single cut when i get home today. hey jauquo tell em about the DOUBLENECK!!!!!!!!!!!
