I'm hoping for a "limited edition Beach Boys Producer Knob" (aka the Murry Knob for short). A knob connected to a pot and nothing else. The next time the sound guy wants to tweak your sound point him to the knob and tell him to have at it.

Last week I got most of the turrets pressed in the first five boards. The templates I made worked well and I managed to get a good bit of machining done yesterday, and started building #1 today. Got the rear panel done, and the fan, transformer, and power module installed.

The rest of the ICE modules should ship next week. Faceplates should also be here in a week or so.

Great looking plate... but still don't get the "Studio" reference on a 1.2 kW unit. More of a pocket battleship then a reference amp IMO.

It is held in place by all the pots/jacks/switches.

Hi JGR: can you explain a bit more how tubes are working in your preamp? I'm playing around with a Sonic Farm 2di4 used as a preamp to a Tecamp Puma 900's ICE power section and am particularly interested to learn about similarities / differences between your preamp and the SF's triode and pentode modes. Thanks.

It all started out with the new preamp design that I called "Studio" which was then coupled to the 1200 watt power section, hence the "Studio 1200".

Pocket battleship is a pretty cool description though....
