Double Bass Remic - bad cord

Hey all

Anyone have any issues with a bad cord on your Remic? My green version has got some issues where the cord connects to the XLR jack. Sounds like it may just need to be resauterred. The sound cuts in and out when the cord is moved around. I’ve had the mic for a year and a half so it looks like it’s still under warranty. If it’s an easy thing to fix myself I could do it but don’t want to make things up or screw up my warranty on it.

My green’s cord is fine but I’m interested in how it can be repaired. I believe the warranty is three years. European warranties are longer than those in the US, the standards are higher there where 2 years is the standard warranty. You should contact Thorkild at Remic and see what they reccommend.

P.S. I’m curious to know how one replaces the foam wedge.
