removable rack tray?

I've searched several websites, but I can't seemo find what I need.

Is there such a thing as an easily removable rack tray which can be used for effect pedals? I would like to use my pedals in front of me and the rack rig behind me. I've seen the rack trays that can be pulled out, but I don't think they are easily removable from the rack.

Any ideas?

I used to use a sliding rack shelf - like a flat plank on drawer rollers; you just pull it all the way to the front, then tip it up and the wheels come out of the glide tracks so you can put it on the floor. Nice solution; just mount it at the bottom of a 3U space (may be able to get away with 2, i can't remember) and you're good.

What usually happens in those cases is a rack tray is used and a board is cut and finished off that will slide in and then latched in place for transport. Those are generally custom fabrications by a sound company, a rack manufacturer or a roadie - not something I have ever seen on offer by a Road Case or parts manufacturer. I just checked Link Removed the largest manufacturer in the world for Racks and Rack furniture and accessories, ie the Amazon for this shite and they no gotz.

Middle atlantic has this one:
Invalid Link Removed
but I can't tell if it's easy-popout like the ones I used to use that literally just lifted off the track like drawers.

Nope that on is not removable, I have used that one before to mount a lap top.

All of these are designed for Road Cases to meet ATA spec - they must not shake loose like domestic or office type drawer hardware might. Remember these are designed for cross country truck travel as well as turbulent air travel to keep equipment secure.

Then man I extra wish I remembered the manufacturer of the removable ones I used. Got them at places like Mars Music, maybe even MF at the time (90s-00s)

Mars wow don't that bring up some bitter harsh memories best left buried.

If'n it was It might have been one of those manufacturers that Mars made and killed along with so many others they did and almost took down.
