My SWR 2x15 has a crossover and a tweeter control pot.
Can I wire my speakers directly to my amplifier in jack, bypassing all that other stuff?
It may be a little bit involved.
On Eden cabs, the crossover components, PC board, and jacks are all one assembly. It's impossible to wire directly to the jacks because they're part of the PC board.
One would have to remove the jacks/PCB assembly from the metal jack plate and install new jacks.
Your SWR cab may be built similarly; I don't know.
I guess that you can see the jack on the board and probably you see the two pins to which you should solder the speaker wire. It could not be very difficult.
You don't want the jack to remain connected to the components on the board. The crossover components could affect the signal or be damaged. So it's far easier to simply install new jacks and leave the original PCB/jack assembly alone.
