The pickguard on my CB10 Thunderchief has begun to bubble and looks like poop to be quite frank. I want it gone and would like to replace it with a tortoise-shell guard. Any ideas on how to take it off without damaging the body or finish? If I need to take it in, would any luthier have the know-how to do this or would I need to go to a shop authorized to work on Tacomas?
