Replace pick ups on 90's Ibanez

Need louder pups
Ibabez SDGR 90's model
2 band stacked eq(b+t)vol,fade,tone
4.25" x 1.25" dual soapbar

I could use some help picking out some pups. $100-$300 for set.

I just want advice, not someone's used gear.

I had a '90s Ibanez...in the actual '90s.

I hated the pups because I found them microphonic and when I rested my thumb on the pup you could hear a hollow plastic-like clonk in the amp.

I switched to EMG's which worked out well.

I was looking at some Barts since the mid and upper SDGR's had them in 90's.

The still use them on some models like that multi scale bass they have. I was considering saying Barts but I thought they were more expensive than EMG but I haven't priced pups in awhile.

I would throw a strong second on the EMG p’ups, bonus if you can spring for an active blend control and the stack knob BTS preamp.

I put this exact setup in a cheap little Ibanez GSR-200 and it went from meh to WHOA just like that. Quiet too, even with the volume and treble dimed it had no noticeable hiss and the solderless install was easy.

EDIT: The EMG’s sound great without one of their preamps too, just adds more spice to the plate.
