Replacement Pickup advice

I have a '08 Fender Jaguar CIJ and playing it through an Ampeg SVT CL and Ampeg 8x10. I find the tone very muddy with the fender. I've played several other fender's and currently also own a EB Music Man, and love it's tone through the same amp. Does anyone have any suggestions on a new pickup set for the Jaguar or any other suggestions? I would like a really warm tone. All advice is appreciated.

yep, better pickups, and try skipping the preamp.
