replacement speaker

I am not sure if this post should go under parts or amps so i appolgise ahead if it goes in the parts section.

Anyways i resently blew the speaker in my 25w crate and looking to replace the speaker. the spec sheet says the original speaker peaks at 30w and i don't know what i should look for in choosing a new one and what people recommend for brands.

your advice is greatly appriciated.

What amp? Or at least what size speaker?

It might not cost much more to replace the whole amp than buying a new speaker by the time you paid for shipping. I would compare prices.

+1 at this point, I'd consider a new amp. if you really like what you've got, replace the speaker with the exact same one it came with.

its a crate bt 25, has 10" speaker
