Replacing G&L neck with Moses Graphite

i couldn't figure out how to delete my old thread cause i wanted to start a new one with this. so i bought a new g&L l2500 (USA) almost a month ago and i didn't notice that there was a fairly noticeable dead spot on the 7th and 8th frets of the g string. i might not be able to return it so i was wondering what you guys think of replacing the neck with a moses graphite neck. i have been doing some research on them and it seems that graphite necks reduce the majority of dead spots and make then less noticeable. since i managed to grab this bass for 900$ i have some left over change. so i have 2 questions for you guys.

1. Do you guys think it would be worth replacing the neck with a moses graphite neck?

2. would i be able to sell the USA G&L neck if i were to replace it?
